Kemisi

Kemisi has always been drawn to most things exotic--such as foreign cultures. These interests led her to obtain a bachelors degree in Anthropology which helped her to further understand this ancient dance practiced by many cultures.

The first bellydancer she ever saw was Ihlam performing at Disney’s Epcot Center. She was in awe and could not forget the experience and the fire for bellydance was ignited within her.

Kemisi then decided to take classes which only enhanced her natural abilities for dance. Through the years, Kemisi has been a part of several dance troupes including Gypsy Baladi, The Deva Dancers and Corazon Gitano. From these experiences, she has developed her own soloist style which is a mix of the Gypsy and Fantasy Cabaret styles.

Kemisi is a delight to watch as her performance and smile evokes magic and fun.
