Baudica
soloist

Baudica's interest in dance started in her youth during the 70s – thus, she is a self-proclaimed "disco queen!" Later in life, her interests moved to ballroom dance. She studied and eventually became a ballroom dance instuctor.

Since 2001, Baudica has been studying Middle Eastern dance. She began instruction with Maya of Gypsy Baladi and has performed as a member and soloist ever since – both as a drummer and dancer.

She is inspired by many of the great stars in bellydance including Raqia Hassan, Suhaila Salimpour and Aziza. Baudica continues to advance her technique and enhance her own personal style. She loves incorporating new ideas into her routines.

Her bellydance style is very unique to her. She has a way of comanding the attention of the audience with a sassy and saucy twist. Based primarily in the Turkish and Cabaret styles of bellydance, she loves to mix it up a bit, and it is not unusual to see her combine movements from many styles of dance into a performance. Baudica has tremendous energy and will WOW you with her smile when you see her perform.
