Rajani
soloist, founding member of USMED and member of Chuvani

Rajani's first meeting with bellydance was quite on accident when she picked up a Veena and Neena instructional DVD. It's been true love ever since. She is a founding member of the University Society of Middle Eastern Dance on Truman State's campus in Missouri and also dances with the St. Louis-based Chuvani Bellydance troupe as well. "The power and grace of the subtle movements of the body captivates and blesses," says Rajani.

Rajani believes life is beautiful. And, when she dances, it shows. Rajani's style is based on tribal fusion, but she also incorporates some passionate Flamenco moves and other more playful Gypsy styles. Her presentation will wow you with its confidence and style. Rajani loves working with props, from fans and zills to skirts and swords.

She is currently attempting to expand her repertoire to fire.
