| Nadirah Nadirah has been a bellydance performer since 2001. She took classes and performed with Aalim Dance Company in St. Louis, MO untill 2006. At that time, she began attending Truman State University as a student. Now, living in Kirksville, MO and attending college, she is president and founder of the University Society of Middle Eastern Dance (USMED) at Truman State University. There, she teaches and performs regularly. She is also the owner and instructor of Fitness Fusion in Kirksville, MO. Nadirah's training also extends to other areas of dance – like 17 years of clogging training and performance experience as well as 3 years of swing/lindy. She is also well-versed in the Suhaila Salimpour bellydance format and continues to enjoy attending workshops on all styles of bellydance. Periodically, she returns to the St. Louis area to perform with bellydance troupe Chuvani for events such as the Rennaissance Faire and Pirate Fest. When not dancing, she is either taking classes or taking care of her 1-year-old son Bradley.
